The address is 27612 Loxstedt-Dedesdorf (as of 2003).1 He was the son of Reinhard Friedrich Muller and Anna Margaretha Wilhelmina Braggermann. Louis* Justus Martin Muller married Anna* Maria Jaeger, daughter of Friedrich* Jaeger and Elizabeth Rapp, on 28 August 1864 at United German Lutheran Church, New York, New York Co., NY.2 Louis* Justus Martin Muller died on 28 January 1911 at Jersey City, Hudson Co., NJ, at age 70.3 He was buried after 28 January 1911 at Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Village, L.I., NY.4
     Louis* Justus Martin Muller was confirmed on 1 April 1855 at Catholic Church, Dedesdorf, Oldenburg, Germany. He immigrated in 1858; from Bremerhaven; copy of passport is in DJW files.5 He appeared on the census of 1910; Family # 374: Louis age 70, Mary age 68, Charles age 41, John D. age 31, Henry B. age 22, and two unknown sons.6 He was a Butter and eggs merchant. Per Mary Muller (his wife, presumably), informant on Louis' death certificate, Louis was born 18 Jan 1841 in Germany and was a butter & eggs merchant. His father was Rehnart Muller, his mother was Ann Briggermann, both born in Germany. Louis and Mary lived at 228 First St., Jersey City, at the time of his death and had lived at that address 8 months and 8 days. He died of pulmonary edema and was buried in Lutheran Cemetery, L.I. on 31 Jan 1911. I also have his German "passport," with essential details in the Muller scrapbook. From it, I was able to obtain detailed information on his ancestors from his church in Dedesdorf, Oldenburg.
