For anyone that is actually interested, I am posting the following information. I received many questions from ONE individual and tried to answer them the best that I could. The FAQ page was created based on the questions from this ONE person. Well apparently he did not like the answers that I gave him on this one question, so here is how it went down. I am pasting the emails so that all can understand the "why" to this page. For reasons of privacy I am putting the person's name as XXXXX. And just so that there is no confusion, if I am a transshipper for you and your fish you will get courteous and professional treatment. And I will take exceptional care in getting your fish safely to you. However I am not auditioning to be a transshipper for anyone and will not go out of my way to communicate with people who are rude, nasty and quite obviously in need of medication........
Email I received:

Quite personally I'm going to have to disagree with you on 1 of the questions I
asked in regards to the paperwork from where the fish enters the country. As I'm
involved in the transportation department , I've also
delt with U.S. Customs , paperwork is always a must have. I as the
purchaser of the fish am entitled to the paperwork showing the fish was cleared
by U.S. Customs , the paperwork does not belong to you other than a copy showing
a "Record Of" so you may show loss / profit for taxes owed from profit
from services rendered.
I apologize for perhaps sounding out of the way but theres other reasons as to
why the paperwork is important , such as breeding , family trees/proof ,
etc..... the paperwork is actually important to the legitimacy of the
history of the fish to any real breeder and I'm sorry that you don't find it as
important to pass along to your
customers which may request it. Without this policy change/option of then
I believe I'll have to pass, which I'm sure really doesnt bother you , I'm sure
you have plenty of average joe customers which arent concerned with these
issues. Heres something I know from experience....Without the papers , I can
breed two top ct fish that I may have $100.00 a piece in , direct from Tailand ,
breed them and their babies are worth about $4.-$5.00 without the papers at any
pet store I've ever walked into. With the papers , the babies are worth about
$10.-$12.00 a piece. Average Joe Breeder = Crap results Above
Average Breeder = Beautiful results
And the prices show , all due to paperwork. Should you change your
mind on this issue then let me know and we'll begin doing business.

My response to this email:
XXXXX,
As a breeder as well as an importer I can tell you that the paperwork that I
receive will not make a difference one way or another in what you are
saying. Nor does this paperwork show anything at all that has to do with
the genetics or history of any of these fish. But it was interesting
reading your response to this. I wouldn't think you would have to ask me
questions on something if you think that you already know the answer unless
it's to purposefully try to argue something. Since you disagree with my
answer does not make it different than what it actually is, I'm sorry. There are
other transshippers in the US that you can contact and maybe they will be
willing to work with you on the paperwork issue and take their time to
forward unnecessary paperwork to you. But I do disagree with you on the
issue of the paperwork not being mine. The shipment is sent to me. I
have the license to properly receive the fish and all the paperwork that I
get belongs to me. And unfortunately the paperwork is nothing more
than a description of the contents of the box by species, number of fish
in the box, box dimensions, weight etc. Things of that nature. Why
you would want that is beyond my understanding and how it would affect the
sale of an imported fish is also beyond my understanding. As ALL of the
fish in the box are not yours (theoretically speaking of course) and if it
contained some top secret info would not be your business as to the other
customers "fish info". But as I said that isn't even the case,
no relevant "specific" fish info in that paperwork. Not
even something as basic as how old the fish are. But this is now a
moot point and it's been nice corresponding with you. Thanks,
Jennifer
Response from XXXXX to my response:
Yes mam , she just said "Not A Problem"
And attached a small copying fee. Sorry you're full of shit , I do know a little
more about transportation both importing as well as exporting into the U.S. I've
been in the
Transportation business for 11 years, just imagine how ridiculious you sound to
those that know their ass from a hole in the ground. No need in responding to
this e-mail , our business has closed. Good luck with your business. -XXXXX
Yes, this was a real email folks, not a hoax. In any case I wanted to post copies of the paperwork in question so that nobody else (not that I really think anyone would) thinks I am hoarding all the genetic secrets to their imported fish from Thailand. So here ya go, here's the "Top Secret" transship documents that will help increase the value of your spawns. Just click on the words below to view each document:
So there you have it. Hope everyone can now sell their spawns from imported bettas for larger amounts of money with this knowledge ;O)
