Hi, I have been an amputee for 5 years. I lost my left foot in an industrial accident. I like to say I got into an argument with a rail car and lost. My Left foot was torn from my ankle. Now I am an LBKA Left Below Knee Amputation. I am currently wearing my third generation leg. I should get a new one every 2-3 years. 
I would very much like to hear from other amputees that lost their limbs accidentally.
