The problem with ferries:  They either are not used very often, and they go out of business, or they are so popular, the city builds a bridge and the Ferry goes out of business.  This ferry was in a good location, just down the street from Opryland Hotel.  Although this is a nice place for a bridge, it is not too far from the Briley Parkway bridge.  You can still walk down to the water from here.
