"Dr. Bob" will be familiar to most readers, having been a medical correspondent for three networks over the last 20 years. Self-described as "a traditional physician," Arnot nonetheless has a journalist's eye for "the one landmark study which changes the way medicine is practiced."
Arnot's practice has consisted mainly of sports and emergency medicine -- two areas where the western "pills and surgery" approach is clearly indicated over more gradual holistic approaches. For good mainstream advice that doesn't totally discount unusual approaches, Bob Arnot is a reliable source.
