Sleepy the Cat was born in February of 1992. He's had an eventful life as far as cats are concerned. Born in Georgia, he moved to Virginia in the fall of 1998, got a doggy-brother in the summer 1999, and moved to Florida in 2001. Now, he's back in Georgia and he is in good health and his favorite past time is annoying the heck out of Kenny and me by meowing 24/7. The older he gets, the louder and more cantankerous he is! His loves starting mischief with the dogs, who he pretends to kiss just so he can bite them. His least favorite activity besides me throwing things at him to make him shut up is being washed in the tub, to which he will say, "No....help me." I swear.
Hercules the Dog was born on Cinco de Mayo of 1999. I think it is quite fortuitous for a Mexican dog to be born on that day. He came from champion parents in the AKC bred my Maestro Chihuahuas based in Virginia, his father winning Best In Show many times. However, he has an overbite and a Elvis-style harelip due to his previous shark-teeth. Yes, no baby teeth feel out, so he had two rows of teeth until his mommy noticed and got them removed, so now his lip gets stuck on a crooked tooth. Hercules enjoys car rides in his baby seat with his seatbelt on, barking at every conceivable sound, biting his cat-brother Sleepy, eating, eating, eating, eating, and eating. It was just recently that he went on a diet so he wouldn't look like a football with legs.
Crystal the Lab was adopted from the pound by my sister, Kim. She is a very large, but sweet white lab. Pro- can bark very loudly....good for when I'm home alone. Con- sheds about a pound of fur per day. Lately, Kenny and I have taken to getting her shaved at Petsmart. She doesn't seem to even notice, and she is very soft after her visit to the salon. She used to be either Autistic or Obsessive Compulsive, because she would stare at the floor for hours trying to find "dots" also known as "numa-numas." She has been almost cured of that ridiculous obsession, so now's she's just a big sweetie.
Gimble is my snake. I adopted him in January 2002 as a birthday present to myself. He is currently 5 1/2 feet long, and enjoys such activities as eating dead rodents and sleeping under his water dish.
