In May of 2001 we started building our new home, which was a very excited process. It took about 3 1/2 months to finish the house and we moved in in early September 2001. The floor plan is a Larry James design that we have modified with our builder to fit our needs. It's called Meadow Lake (#9418).

The house was built on a half acre lot in southern Middle Tennessee. The street has a U form and our lot is situated on the bottom part of the U. The house has about 1700 sq feet downstairs and about 560 sq feet upstairs once we finish it. We started finishing the upstairs in late December and I will add pictures of the process shortly.
