Raisin Pie1/3 cup lemon juice 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind 1/2 cup orange juice 2 teaspoons grated orange rind 1 cup brown sugar 2 cups seeded raisins 1 3/4 cups water 6 tablespoons flour Pie crust Combine lemon juice nad rind, orange juice and rind, sugar, raisins and 1 1/4 cyos water and heat to boiling. Mix flour and remaining 1/2 cup water to a smooth paste and add to mixture gradually, stirring constantly. Cook 5 minutes. Line pie pan with crust, pour in filling and cover with top crust. Bake in hot oven (400°F.) 40 minutes. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie. |
