Once again I hope this is not a continuing theme... All of the above are gone

Midnight went first, so we got Marshmallow a friend as not to let him get bored.   Intro M&M (mini marshmallow)

Lo and behold when the two got acclimated to each other about a month later.   Marshmallow was found immobile and getting stiff in the cage!

To keep the scenario running...  Enter  Skittle

Once again  we have a Pig change  Skittle is still with us but after a long battle and around a $250.00 expense M&M lost a battle to an eye infection that spread into his mouth.  While at the Vet to investigate a "bad breath problem"   he succumbed to the infection.  With a clip of his fur we will remember him fondly.

ENTER....   to keep with the candy theme "MILKDUD"  We just got him today and the pigs are undergoing the acquaintance procedure but both seem to want to get near each other sniffing and chewing on the bars that separate them.

Now our replacement pig has just graduated to a $500.00 investment. After 2 weeks he developed..

A Sub coetaneous cyst  (aka rapid growing fluid under the skin)  Turns out It wasn't a cyst it was an "Abscess" meaning we had to leave the below incision open and put hot compresses on the poor little pig and squeeze the excess material out of him daily!!!  After another month the darn thing is starting to come back. We hope that antibiotics will be enough and we wont have to endure another operation.

After the operation our poor little franken pig.   (about 1/2 the length of his body was opened) What a fun time pulling missed stitches out!
