Chester - England

Chester England is the home of a Roman city and the wonderful Chester Cathedral.  The walls of the city remain intact and the pathway on top of the walls makes for a delightful walk around the old city center.

Cow Lane Bridge moorings is located conveniently on the North East corner of the Chester Roman wall and has a winding hole to turn around the largest of narrowboats. Silver Vale is moored on the right. (6/27/2001)

It's late in the evening (about 10PM) and the view looking westward across the top of Silver Vale with the lights of the nearby buildings and sky is beautiful! (6/27/2001)
