You recall some words from a song you've
heard, "It isn't easy being green."
In retrospect you feel a little sad,
you know exactly what it means.
But you play the game well, and do
your level best, to fit in, to belong,
become one of the crowd.
You reach a measure of success, pat
yourself on the back, needless to say
you're feeling rather proud.
Then you wake up one morning, it hits
you, Wham! Bam!
Just who the hell are you trying to
fool? You don't really give a damn!!
