Lines I'm sure could change the world, burn the tip of my tongue.
I put them down on paper, oh! hell ... they came out wrong!
Maybe if I started over, from a different point of view,
All the words would fall in place the way I meant them too.
A voice echoes inside my head, "there is no master plan,
little fool, when will you learn, nobody gives a damn."
An image in a mirror? Just a shadow on a wall?
Sometimes I wonder if I'm really here at all.
Searching for direction, afraid of what I'll find.
A total contradiction, just a victim of the times.
