Church School at Broadmoor is held at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.

Children and Youth: Broadmoor offers church school classes for children from preschool through high school age. Nursery and preschool classes are held in the education building. K-5th grade classes are now being held in the new "Living Waters" section of the Naylor Building. Join us for friendship, fellowship, and fun as we learn about God's redeeming love and explore His plan for us in our brand new "Living Waters" location. Our Jr. & Sr. High School classes are held upstairs in the Activites Building.

Adults: Broadmoor offers a variety of adult church school classes. These include classes centered on Christian parenting, spiritual growth and development, and other contemporary Christian issues as well as Bible studies. All are, of course, Biblically based. The following is a list of the offerings for fall, 2002. The letter "N" by the class names indicates that it will be taught in the Naylor Building.

Bible Study Class, Naylor – 8, Facilitator: Nedra Zartman: This class will study the book of Romans this fall. John Stott has written, quoting F. F. Bruce, "There is no saying what may happen when people begin to study the letter to the Romans." This study can be a source of great spiritual growth for participants because Paul covers many varied topics: sinners’ justification by God’s grace, sanctification, the purpose of the law, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the responsibilities of Christians.

Holt-Allen Bible Class, Fellowship Hall, Teacher: Rev. Hawley Wolfe, Class President: Mark McCune: The Holt-Allen Bible Class is an adult Bible study in a lecture, and question-and-answer format. Rev. Wolfe is leading a study of the Gospel of Luke. The class includes a gospel sing-along, coffee hour, prayer time, and reports about Cordoba, Mexico, and Southeast Ministries.

The Seekers Class, Naylor – 6, Teachers: Jerry Davis and Sam Haase: In September we will continue our study of the book of Judges, using Warren Wiersbie’s book entitled "Be Available." Through Bible study, we seek to better recognize God's spirit moving in the ordinary events of our lives to more fully allow God to help us to live "in" but not "of" the world. In our moderated discussion format, we use each other’s comments, questions and ideas as a springboard into our own thoughts and experiences as we listen for God speaking directly to each of us in scripture.

Discovery With Friends Class, Naylor – 7, Teachers: Susan and Kevin Shepherd, Tommy and Trish Gautreau: This is a new informal class for adults (40 to 50 something) with children ranging from preschool to high school age. As a Small Group, we will discuss what's going on in "our world" - from parenting, to work, to sports, to whatever. Come join us as we get to know each other better and operate as a support group. We'll start off with "Soul Retreats for Busy People" - 15 Minute Meditations to Revive & Refresh Your Day. We hope to have social activities to build our relationships with all our families. Please join us – we’d love to visit with you.

Believers Class, Naylor – 9, Teachers: Eva and Bob Doty, Class President: Stacy Crenshaw: We are a Bible-study class of young adults, both married and single, with and without children. During August, we will study I and II Timothy and Titus. In September, we begin a six-month Bible survey. This class has frequent social events, and we welcome visitors and new members as we seek to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word and to live it everyday.
