Greetings from Broadmoor! Broadmoor Presbyterian Church is a congregation of about 500 members located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. and of the Presbytery of South Louisiana.

If this is your first peek into our community of faith, and you live in the Baton Rouge area, we would be so pleased to welcome you to a service of worship any Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. As you explore our webpage, you'll learn quite a bit about us, but you'll miss one of the most important aspects of BPC--the warmth and friendliness of our congregation. We share the love of Christ with one another, and are striving to be obedient in every area of life together. You will surely receive a warm welcome should you decide to visit us.

What makes BPC distinctive? We work hard to maintain our rich heritage as Presbyterians. But we also search every day for ways to make Christian faith relevant here and now. Sometimes that means revisiting old ideas and exploring their application in our changing society. And sometimes that means creating all new approaches to ministry.

Every Sunday we dig into the Bible and open ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe faith begins with repentance, a turning away from sin toward God, who is the source of all goodness and life. We believe faith that is genuine will be translated into acts of obedience. We believe Christ came to take away our sin and give us eternal life. We believe God is working on us from the inside out to make us into the creative and loving beings we were created to be. We believe God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit calls us, as the church, to spread His love and His gospel of hope to every corner of our aching world.

Come visit us this Sunday. If you are a middle schooler or senior higher check out F.I.S.H. (First I Serve Him), our booming youth group, complete with gym, which meets every Sunday night, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Our youth have frequent retreats to our Presbytery's Feliciana Retreat Center, and to Montreat in North Carolina. We have a full-scale Christian education program for people of all ages which meets at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning right before our worship service. We hope you enjoy our site.
