He married Mary C. Bowles October 31, 1872. Mary was born in Taylor Co, KY January 7, 1855. Mary died January 24, 1881 at 26 years of age. Her body was interred in Palestine Baptist Church Cemet, Taylor Co, KY.

347 i. Ida Jane⁶ Cave was born March 23, 1874. She married Charles S. Tharp.

348 ii. Rezin D. Cave was born in Taylor Co, KY July 7, 1875. Rezin died May 12, 1955 in Taylor Co, KY, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Palestine Baptist Church Cemet, Taylor Co, KY. He married Lula E. Roy in Taylor Co, KY, December 20, 1906. Lula was born September 9, 1883. Lula died October 24, 1942 at 59 years of age. Her body was interred in Palestine Baptist Church Cemet, Taylor Co, KY.

349 iii. Lydia Cave was born about 1878. She married Lafe Richerson.

350 iv. Mary Hammond Cave was born in Taylor Co, KY November 9, 1878. Mary died February 28, 1966 in Taylor Co, KY, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred in Brookside Cemetery, Taylor Co, KY. She married Luther Harding Campbell in Taylor Co, KY, May 3, 1900. Luther was born August 6, 1867. Luther died October 25, 1937 at 70 years of age. His body was interred in Brookside Cemetery, Taylor Co, KY.
