139. Jefferson Franklin⁵ Cave (Abner⁴, Thomas³, William², Robert¹) was born in Taylor Co, KY March 18, 1834. Jefferson died October 29, 1904 in Upton, Hardin Co, KY, at 70 years of age. His body was interred in Brackett Family Cemetery, Hardin Co, KY.

He married twice. He married Nancy Upton Brackett in Hardin Co, KY, February 11, 1858. Nancy was born in Hardin Co, KY August 4, 1837. Nancy died April 17, 1881 in Hardin Co, KY, at 43 years of age. Her body was interred in Brackett Family Cemetery, Hardin Co, KY. He married Mary J. (Mount) Evans 1882.

Jefferson Franklin Cave and Nancy Upton Brackett had the following family:

372 i. Mary M.⁶ Cave was born January 13, 1859. Mary died September 21, 1922 at 63 years of age. She married Samuel Thomas [Booker] Cleaver 1879. Samuel was born January 30, 1858. Samuel died February 22, 1943 in Munfordville, Hart Co, KY, at 85 years of age.

373 ii. Sarah Cave was born 1860. Sarah died 1863 at 3 years of age.

374 iii. Veturia Cave was born 1864. She married ? Rider.

375 iv. Nancy Cave was born 1866. Nancy died 1867 at 1 year of age.

376 v. William Robert Lee Cave was born March 16, 1868. William died June 14, 1934 at 66 years of age. He married Mattie Wyatt 1891. Mattie was born 1870.

377 vi. Florence Cave was born 1872. She married Willis Smith.

378 vii. Louella Cave was born 1874. She married Tom Evans.

379 viii. Laura C. Cave was born 1876. She married George Smith.

380 ix. Daniel Bunyan Cave was born in Upton, Hardin Co, KY September 10, 1879. Daniel died December 6, 1931 in Sonora, LaRue Co, KY, at 52 years of age. His body was interred in Sonora Cemetery, Larue Co, KY. He married Idella Ree Patterson in Jeffersonville, Clark Co, IN, July 19, 1898. Idella was born March 5, 1879. Idella died April 19, 1964 at 85 years of age.
