- The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) - Based in Washington, D.C., RAINN operates a national hotline for victims of sexual assault and connects a caller to the nearest rape crisis center, which then provides services to the victim.
- NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault - statewide alliance providing support, technical assistance to North Carolina's local programs and agencies committed to ending sexual violence.

- National Sexual Violence Resource Center - serves as a clearinghouse for resources and research; good links to information including research reports, news articles, and sexual assault statistics

- Victim Assistance
- NC DOC Victim Services provides information about the North Carolina Department of Correction and the services it provides to victims of crime including prisoner information, inmate releases, sex offenders, and notification about offenders.
- National Center for Victims of Crime is dedicated to helping victims of crime rebuild their lives; has great information on topics including acquaintance rape, campus crime, dating violence, male rape, child sexual abuse, and more.
- Statewide Automated Victim Assistance and Notification (SAVAN) provides information and notification to victims of crime in North Carolina, giving victims a way to check on the status of the offenders who victimized them.
- Crime Victims Compensation Program is a program provided by the state of North Carolina to reimburse citizens who suffer medical expenses and lost wages as a result of being an innocent victim of a crime committed in North Carolina.
- The North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry provides a searchable database of sex offenders as a result of the 1996 NC law that requires a person who is a resident of North Carolina and who has a reportable conviction to maintain registration with the sheriff of the county where the person resides.
- Family Watchdog allows you to type in an address and see a map showing locations of registered sex offenders in the surrounding area. Links on the map display information about the offender.
