GOALS AND WORK STYLE

I am seeking a position in management, that will allow me to apply the techniques and experience I have obtained during my professional life and through my Masters Degree in Business Administration.

During my twenty-three year naval career, I supervised up to 45 employees in the maintenance and administration of very large electronic systems. Serving during a time of continued reduction in military funding, I effectively budgeted my physical and financial resources to achieve the highest degree of readiness for my assigned area of responsibility. I functioned as an auditor, inspector, instructor, and supervisor.

While in the construction industry, I estimated large custom home plans, coordinated budgets and obtained permits. I worked closely with county building officials during all phases of construction. I utilized my personal communication skills to resolve customer inquires, sub-contractor proposal clarification, and internal dissemination of information through all levels in the organization.

I possess excellent problem solving skills and analytical abilities. I have a positive work ethic and excellent computer skills. I have worked with MicroSoft Office '95 and '98, MicroSoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Additionally I am proficient in Lotus, Cordel WordPerfect, QuatroPro and Excel programs. I can work in a Windows or DOS environment with easy and confidence.
