You Took

You assigned me this lawyer against my will and he has not properly represented me.

You took my son away from me and you took my possessions without even having the decency to tell me why, or to ask my side of whatever evidence you used to do so. You just let these sick and abusive people drag me into your court, and you summarily stripped my son of his father, and took away his constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness.

So now, Stephin and I are at the mercy of legal tricks and games, because you don’t want to hear the truth.

And you call this justice?

It is justice all right; just us down at the jailhouse.
