Second addendum to Newsletter Number 1
The Committee for Cemetery Preservation, Inc. has been very active. We have established a regular mowing program. We are in the process of obtaining a survey so we can proceed with fence replacement and the digging of a drainage ditch. Volunteers are needed to do light labor. Money is always a factor and donations are needed (any amount). DBC/TC 8/5/2004

First addendum to Newsletter Number 1
This is to advise the membership that we are making a change in the date of the 2002 reunion to the second Sunday. We had to do this in order to get a shed for outside activities. This is a one-time move. We hope to get the shed for the first Sunday thereafter. DBC/TC 9/1/2001
End of first addendum.
This is the first edition (beta, if you will) of a news letter for the Counts family, especially those who are active in the reunion and interested in family matters.
Remember the sign seen in old western movies: "Please do not shoot the piano player. He is doing the best he can. Thank you."
This is a new undertaking for me. I hope it will allow us to keep in touch and communicate family matters.
As you probably read on the Web page, we had 112 registered at the reunion Sunday. The meeting took longer than usual as we had a lot of new business (this newsletter being one item). Members attending also voted to have a committee for programs and selection of speakers.
The Committee for Cemetery Maintenence, established at last year's reunion met for the first time. Officers were selected and an adjenda was laid out. We voted to incorporate the Committee. Please e-mail your comments and/or suggestions (please mind your manners) to me at dbcounts@bellsouth.net
