January 19, 2005 – Former Bartlett High School and Ole Miss player Jonathan Loe has transferred from Middle Tennessee State University to Crichton College. Loe's stellar prep career included leading Coach Hubie Smith's Bartlett Panthers to the 2001 TSSAA State Championship. He was selected MVP of the state tournament, first team all-state by the Associated Press, and co-player of the year by the Commercial Appeal and tabbed one the nation's top 50 guards by ESPN.com. Loe signed with Ole Miss, red-shirted the 2001-02 season, and played 18 games in 2002-03.

Loe spent the 2003-04 season playing for Northwest Mississippi Junior College, where he led the Rangers to the National Junior College Tournament. He was named MVP of the Region XXIII Tournament, First-Team All-state, and selected to the National Junior College All-Star Team.

Loe will have one season of eligibility remaining for Crichton, which will participate in its inaugural season in the NAIA in 2005-06.
