What is the Legal Chain of Custody Test?

The collected specimens follow a legal chain of custody to ensure that the sample is not tampered with. Results from the Legal Chain of Custody test is court admissible and is often used for paternity and child support cases.

What is the Peace of Mind Test?

This test is as accurate as the legal chain of custody test, but the results are not court-admissible. This test provides results for confidential and personal use only.

How is the sample collected?

DNA samples are taken by mouth swab. The swab is inserted in the mouth and scrubs the inside of the cheek to collect cellular material. No blood samples or needles are needed!

How long does the test take?

Sample collection usually takes 15 minutes. Results from standard tests are completed in 3 business days. Results can even be done in 1 business day upon request.

How accurate is the test?

Results are 99.99% accurate.

Can you mail a sample collection kit to me?

Yes. If you would prefer to take your own samples, at your own convenience, we can provide a kit to you in the mail. The results of the type of testing are not court-admissible (i.e. peace of mind only).
