Welcome to my Photography page

Polaroid Sprintscan35 Plus

I bought a slide/negative scanner. The model is a Polaroid SprintScan 35 Plus. I have scanned in the following images with it, using a variety of photographic film. The images are sorted by film type and not by subject, though I tried to group them. These images do not show the full capability of the unit since they had to be reduced in size significantly.

Part of my backyard - Kodak Gold 100

this tree is gone now, it broke in a windstorm

The photographs are arranged by Film Type

Be patient - some pages take a while to load because of the size of the images.

If you want to compare film quality open up each page in a different window.

Kodachrome Slides - for accurate colors (5 images 120-180K each)

Elitechrome Slides - for faster film speed (5 images 120-180K each)

Fuji Velvia - exaggerated color for the generation that grew up with color TV (5 images 120-180K each)

Kodak Negative Film (6 images 120-180K each)

Fuji Negative Film (3 images 120-180K each)
