Country Charm Historic Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast presides over a working farm located in Kentucky’s fabled central bluegrass country. You are minutes away from Lexington (Rupp Arena, Keeneland), the Kentucky Horse Park, Paris (“Horses, History, Hospitality”), and beautiful horse farms.
Within an hour or two, you can be hiking Red River Gorge, shopping in Louisville, enjoying professional sports action in Cincinnati, taking the arts and crafts of Berea, tapping to Renfro Valley’s country music shows, and reliving Kentucky history in Frankfort, Danville, Harrodsburg, or Fort Boonesborough.
But
don’t let our proximity to urban amenities fool you. Country Charm rests on
laid-back acreage where peace and quiet are only occasionally interrupted by
a tractor hum, birdsong, a cooling breeze, or duffer enthusiasm at Shady
Brook Golf Course across the road.
Relax on our patio or porch, shoot some hoops on the ol’ basketball court, take a meandering walk on 65 acres of farmland, or watch CNN, ESPN, or USA on our big-screen television. Dip in our hot tub or catch some rays in our totally private Eden Nook outdoor lounge area.
Accommodations include the historic Francis Hall House (1869) and the cottage.
The house features several upstairs options. Choose from a large queen-size bed room, a spacious king-size bed room, or a suite made up of both bedrooms, a sitting area, and full bath. There is wireless Internet access, a satellite television, DVD/VHS player, and mini fridge with complimentary beverages.
Set 75 feet behind the house, the single-story cottage offers privacy for a romantic getaway as well as flexibility for group get-togethers. Guests can enjoy the three bedrooms (a king bed in one); two baths; exercise room; and kitchen, dining, and satellite TV areas.
Rates: $85 (plus tax) per night for one bedroom in either the house or cottage.
$135 (plus tax) per night for the house suite of 2-3 bedrooms in the cottage.
$10 extra per person for more than a party of six in either the house or cottage.
Policy
1. One night’s deposit will guarantee reservations.
2. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
3. Cancellations must be given seven days in advance of arrival for full refund.
4. Children are welcome; let us know when making reservations.
5. Smoking is allowed outside the house.
6. Sorry, we have no accommodations for pets.
