Designed the application architectures based on supplied business designs. C++ and Windows/Windows NT application development of many client and several server applications and frameworks.  C++ development of a distributed system that moved several million documents from FileNet to Optika imaging systems.  Tracking and workflow client applications and Browsers and Servers that integrated document retrieval into the scope of customer service.  C++ development of the calculation engines for Merrill Lynch’s Municipal Bond Reconciliation system.

 

 

10/94-10/95         Programmer Analyst

MDTV, Orlando Florida

 

Used C++ and Windows and Protected Mode Assembler to develop low level services for very high speed communications equipment (CSU/DSUs, microwave, bonding ISDN) for multimedia teleconferencing and telepresence software. This connected doctors at multiple sites with each other, live data from remote medical equipment, and multimedia patient files.

 

 

10/93-10/94         Programmer Analyst

CSX, Jacksonville Florida

 

C and Vermont Views development of a custom framework and many of the modules for an application loaded on rugged PCs in all locomotives. This allowed train engineers to remotely and dynamically update work orders (car and stop changes) through IBM and Motorola’s digital paging network.

 

 

10/92-12/93         Programmer Analyst

St Johns County Government, St. Augustine Florida

 

Entire C and C++ development of county’s imaging system.  Legacy system (Prime) integration was accomplished by screen scraping.  Also implemented native jukebox robotics control, WORM filesystem, network traffic routing, and browsers with custom image analysis tools.

C development under SCO Xenix, Curses, Postscript and Ladder Logic.  Integration of Brunswick Georgia city’s water and waste water SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system that linked 52 remote pumping stations via radio modem and balanced water flows under the city.  And object Pascal development of Brunswick  Hospital’s alarm and fire alarm monitoring system.
