Wednesday nights: Meet at the Westover High School track at 6:30pm for interval workouts. These sessions, meticulously designed by "coach" Jon Woo, teach our bodies to run faster. The specifics of the workout are emailed to the group each week. In the dark winter months, we still meet on Wednesday evenings (same time and place); however, we run the neighborhoods instead.   View Map

Weekend run: The weekend run typically happens on Saturday morning and is geared toward upcoming races. Again, the workout details are emailed to the group during the week. Currently, many in the group are training for late fall marathons, so this is our long slow run. Since not everyone is interested in doing a marathon, these routes can easily be sub-divided into smaller segments so that everyone can participate.

Hashes: If you're looking for an alternative running experience, give hashing a try. It's fun, it's social, and yes, it's even legal. The Pecan City Hash House Harriers usually sponsor a hash each weekend. Be sure to wear old shoes.

Special Events: Got a birthday coming up? Let us honor you with a pancake breakfast run! This is an ARFC tradition.
