Richard Cooley

b. Nov 6, 1756 d. Nov 30, 1840


Richard was born in Harford County, Maryland. He was drafted into the Revolutionary War at Bel Air, Maryland in 1777 and served under Capt. John Jolly for two short terms. Richard married Rachel in Harford County, Maryland in 1788 and moved to PA around 1790. They settled in Georges Twp., Fayette County, PA. He is buried at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield, PA.
