This writing was handed to me today from a very dear friend.  The page was faded and had been folded many times.  We do not know who wrote it, however, I am sure it has been around a long time.    I glanced at it but gave it very little  thought  until tonight as I reread it and realized it is what I need to be able to say, do, act, and feel in my present time in life.   So therefore, I dedicate it to anyone who doubts my feelings about My Faith, My Jesus, My Lord, My Love, My Sincerity,  My Dedication and My Salvation!

The Decision Has Been Made!

  THE POWER TO BE A WITNESS FOR CHRIST

I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed. 
I have Holy Spirit power, the die has been cast.
I have stepped over the line. 
The love of God controls me.
The decision has been made.
I am a disciple of Christ.

I won't look back,
let up,
slow down,
or back away.

My past is redeemed;
My present makes sense;
My future is secure.

I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap giving, and dwarf goals.

I no longer need preeminance, prosperity, position, promotions, popularity.  
I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, applauded, rewarded.
I now live by faith, lean on God's presence, walk in patience,
I live by prayer and labor with power. 

My fate is set, my gate is fast,
My goal is the kingdom of God.
My road is narrow,
My way is rough,
My companions few,
My Guide reliable,
My mission clear.

I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away,
I will not be turned back, moved or delayed. 
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity,
I will not negotiate at the pool of populatity, meander in the maze of mediocrity. 

I won't give up, shut up, let up, until
I've stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and
I have spoken up
For the cause of  Christ.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.
I've a job to be done:
Give to my God,
Reach my goal,
Until HE stops me.

I am not arrogant;
I belong to Christ;
He is my strength;
HE will Guide and help me!

I pray I can live up to this writing, I will probably have to pray, praise and worship a lot every day to walk this talk. My prayer is that it will help you realize what you are missing by not having the confidence God wants you to have to work for Him and Glorify Him which is the main purpose of your life on this earth!!
