as banks of clouds, ten miles high

tiptoe-stumble across the sky

each a hyroglyph in my mind's eye

stories of angels-some new, some wise

pink and blue,gold and white

God's own pallette spread far and wide

His stories told while breezes sigh

in colored, illustrated lullaby

in painted pictures

in the sky
