Edgartown Harbor
Lined with old Captain's houses which were built with whaling money. All the homes there are white, with white picked fences and roses, while most of the rest of the island has grey shingle homes.

Want a water view? This one has it. Captain's House on
the harbor in Edgartown. Many of these homes have been
renovated and are Bed and Breakfasts now, but some are simply the
"summer home" of the owners.

Prime example of white houses and fences which are the
trademark of this very wealthy little town. This is the Fisher House
and is used for weddings, and belongs to one of the historical societies on
the island now. They take very loving care of it and have special
celebrations such as Christmas Tea every year inside and you get to see
all the lovely furnishings and decorations. Very worth a visit.
