The body goes on!

I had to tidy up some loose ends so I could get ready to install the body.   Here you can see the roll bar installed for a test fit.

Here, you can see the bulb seal installed and the roll bar after it's final install.

With the car running so well, it's really hard to stay out of it.  Regular short trips down the block were quite fun.  I've got about 1 mile on the car at this point....all driven a couple blocks at a time.

The cooling fan switch was giving me some problems, but nothing that can't be fixed...at some point.

Before installing the body, I wanted to make an access panel in case I ever need to get to the clutch cable.  Although it takes away from the smooth appearance of the panel, it will be great to have if I ever need to get into the top of the footbox.

Now, it's time to put the body on.  With help from Bob, Mike & Josh, we walked the body out.  Only took about 10 minutes to get it on.

Feeling like a king now that I've gotten to this point.  It wasn't long ago that the car was a bare frame sitting in the garage with the skin 5 feet off the ground...now it looks like a real car.

Here it is tucked away in the garage.  Now that the body is on, I can take my elevated body buck off.  That will give me more room in the garage and save my head from the abuse it's taken.
