October, 2003
Early in the month of
October, I've gotten a few things done...
...but that pile of wires
still hasn't been touched. Soon, I'll run out of things to do and
will have to get that started.
|
Here, you can see the
Tiny Avenger intake tube installed. I replaced the stock
black plastic tube to give the engine a cleaner look |
Instead of using the
hard lines for fuel, I installed a set of nylon fuel lines from Ron
Morris Performance. This made for an easier install. |
|

|
Here are a few pictures of
the fuel lines. I went along the outside of the main tube, then up
passenger footbox and over the intake tube into the fuel rails.
This seemed to be the path with the least amount of bends in the
line. I also wanted to keep enough distance from the
headers. Since they are ceramic coated, heat shouldn't be a
problem.

Instead of dealing with
shortening a donor drive shaft, I ordered a new one from Breeze.
The installation was a breeze, but tightening the Ford 12pt bolts was
another story. |
| Once the drive shaft
was installed, I mounted the BBK Short Throw Shifter from TriStates. |

Well, I finally broke down
and started to clean the wiring harnesses. I started with the
rear harness, then attacked the dash harness. |
I spent about 2 1/2 hours
to clean off these two harnesses. You can see the piles of tape
lying around. |
Here's
a picture of the rim caps that I'm working with Chris from Prodigy
Design to manufacture. Thanks to Steve
for providing the specs. Also, here's a picture of my engine a few steps
closer to being finished.
