Another Forehand researcher June Driver Goodwin <jdg1709@aol.com>, supplied me with the following information:

William Forehand was born about 1735-1745 and died about l800-1810. William had sons James, Jesse and Lewis (born circa 1760-1770 in Wayne County, NC) One of these three sons was the father of Jesse Forehand who married Sarah Minchew... they had a son, Nathan Forehand born l837 in Wayne County,NC. He married Mary Elizabeth Brown Lockey in l866. They went to Coffee County, GA. This is my Forehand line, but I do not know which of the three brothers (James, Jesse or Lewis) was the father of Nathan.

Note: Dobbs County, NC, later became Wayne County.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 14 M    i. Jesse Forehand was born about 1780 ².^,3

+ 15 M    ii. Lewis Forehand was born between 1784-1794 ⁴.^,5

+ 16 M    iii. James Forehand was born about 1790 ^2,6 and died about 1860, about age 70.
