| DODGER |
NAME: Renwick, Richard
Primary Specialty: Experimental Weapon Systems |
Dodger was part of the state of the art advanced weapons team, BattleForce2000. These men had formed an incredible bond of comradeship during their exploration of new battlefield technologies. Their final mission together was during the battle of Benzheen against COBRA. The team was diverting through an oil storage field and Cobra Commander ordered the field bombed. The resulting explosion virtually destroyed the entire BattleForce2000 team. Dodger was the sole survivor of the seven man team.
His military career went into a decline following this fateful mission. He became a discipline case and had to accept a discharge before any dishonorable actions could be brought against him. One fateful evening, he was alone in a back-water dive, trying to drink his memories away when some COBRA recruiters came in, trolling for new recruits. Dodger quickly recognized them for who they were and what they represented. He unleashed his full anger on the four men, beat all of them unconscious and had to be tasered by three law enforcement officers.
Hawk was his first visitor in jail and after a long discussion, Dodger decided to rejoin the Joe team. Despite being recalled to full active status, he chose to go through the green shirt program, expecting no mercy from the Joe instructors. He received no special treatment and finished well ahead of the younger, stronger recruits purely on guts alone.
Upon his graduation and return to the team, he has become obsessed with new weapon technologies in an effort to fight against COBRA. On the battlefield, he has become cold and relentless in fighting the enemy. He fights with no mercy and the once jovial Dodger may be gone forever. His silently sworn goal to his dead comrades is to be the Joe that puts a bullet between Cobra Commander’s eyes.

| My Comments: I think the headsculpt on this guy is Medal of Honor winner Audie Murphy. I've always liked the BF2000 concept, despite the apparent rushed, poorly-done job by Hasbro. Dodger was fave of the team. Good thing he survived! |
