| Zayin takes his code name from the seventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The name for the letter, zayin, roughly translates into weapon or sword. Zayin sees himself as a tool of God acting against the pure evil that he believes is the strongest influence behind COBRA's actions. He believes that the battle against COBRA is more than a battle between men and ideologies, it is a battle between the ultimate forces of good and evil. He is strong in his faith as a Messianic Jew and serves as a spiritual anchor for many members of the GI Joe team. |

| My Comments: I recall seeing this troop at TRU several years ago and had passed on him at that time. Since my "obsession" with getting nearly every Hasbro head sculpt I could find, I found this guy on eBay purely by chance. The idea of an IDF troop sounded great and I definitely had plans to integrate him into "my" GI Joe team. He's had the radical full body make over and is now on a Hasbro SA body. |
