Shopping Spree and a cursed Curse|
Came into some money and went on a shoppping spree. That, combined with my EBs buy 2 get one free preowned sale means many new games.
Beyond Good and Evil (XB, $15) - Letterboxed all the way. Ugh. No wonder people don't want it. It's annoying as hell on a 4:3 TV and they didn't even put the HUD in the black parts.
Deus Ex: Invisible War (XB, $35) - I heard it takes awhile to get good, and it hasn't gotten good yet.
Syberia (XB, $0) - Good old fashioned adventure game. It's okay so far.
DDR Max (PS2, $34) - Songs aren't as good as Max2. (Neither are the songs in Konamix)
Kya: Dark Lineage (PS2, $8.50) - Surprisingly good so far. Got this just becuase it was $10.
BMX XXX (XB, $8.50) - Also got it because it was $10. It's feh. The videos are lame. I'll use it on a trade in 4 get it free special. As long at they don't consider it a sports game. Which they probably do. Damn.
Otogi: Myth of Demons (XB, $27) - SEGA. Straight so far. Have to get into it more to understand the gameplay better.
Ratchet and Clank (PS2, $17) - I've been to 4 planets and every enemy so far can be easily killed with my wrench. So what's with all the weapons? Guess that why your weapons level up with usage in part 2, so there's actually a reason to use them. It's nothing special so far.
Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (PS2, $30) - Will start after beating the first one.
Sword of Mana (GBA, $0) - Pretty cool. I'm an action-RPG feind. Though, like all Japanese RPG
s, there's no real RPing, just leveing up.
Also got an Iomega 128MB USB 2.0 Mini Drive ($50). No more lugging my Zip Drive around! Going to get the Logitech Wireless controller for my Xbox. Tried Curse, another adventure game for the Xbox. It's totally broken. When you go into some rooms, the walls turn invisible. So I'm running into walls and wlaking down stairs that I can't see. How did this get released
