The Truth, Lord Justice, The Ever Planning
Lawful Neutral

Portfolio: Justice, strategy, planning
Realm: The Great Citadel, located upon Mount Darcadia
Holy Symbol: A balanced scale held by a sword
Holy Weapon: Morningstar
Domains: Law, strength, war

Tassadar's place in the Pantheon of Thetan is historically at the side of his superior, Kryphon. Lord Justice watches over all aspects of justice, planning and strategy. The people of Thetan reverently praise him, especially those who have occupations center around law enforcement and justice. The Truth also plays an important role in the lives of the merchant class, though Shaldwin continues to gain their faith too.

Tassadar has an interesting relationship with his twin brother, Arn. Though both gods attract the worship of warriors, those who are faithful to Tassadar tend to also hold to the laws and confines of their lands, while those who worship Arn are almost always inheritantly chaotic and battle-hungry in nature, such as barbarians. This clear division often pits brother against brother, as one embodies law and the other chaos.

Lord Justice deals little with the other gods of the Five Glens of Koliaris, preferring to live within the Great Citadel in seclusion, planning strategies and training with his sword.

Tassadar's list of foes, however, is not so short. He is constantly at odds with the trickster god Sarphil and his companion Charmagne. Additionally, Tassadar loathes the chaos and destruction of Braxxash, Kaakrondus and Revnor.

Deity's Avatar and Other Manifestations:
Tassadar appears only in a time of dire injustice. Usually, if such an occasion occurs, it will happen in conjunction with a great time of trouble for the people. Therefore, Tassadar will usually appear at the side of Kryphon or carrying both the decrees of Kryphon and his own desires to replace the skewed sense of justice. In such an instance, Tassadar will appear as a season knight clad in brilliant white armor, wielding a shield and a long sword.

The Church:
The church of Tassadar is highly organized and the hierarchy is extremely important to the faith. The titles of the clergy, in ascending order, are Acolyte of Law, Lawkeeper, Bother/Sister Justice, and Father/Mother Justice.

Dogma:
Justice by the laws and may the laws be just.

Common Duties and Day-to-Day Activities:
The day-to-day activities of the church of the god of justice are similar to those of any organized faith. Prayers are performed during the beginning and end of each day. Ceremonies often include hymnal reciting and services given by the high priest of the temple.

Holy Days and Important Ceremonies:
There is only one Holy Day in the church of Tassadar; the Day of Right. On this day, the entire congregation of the church of Tassadar journeys to the nearest church, which is presided over by a Father Justice, and there, they observe the proclamations of the Father Justice. Before and after the proclamations are times of celebration, and these celebrations usually include hymnals and feasts. Also important to the province are the Days of Justice. On the second day of each tenday is the Day of Justice or Justiceday. On this day, all persons accused of a crime are brought before the law keepers and justices and tried for their wrong-doings. It is commonplace throughout the civilized nations of Thetan to have law keeping and justice bodies composed entirely of priests of Tassadar.

Priestly Vestments and Adventuring Garb:
The clergy of Tassadar all wear the ceremonial gray robes of the order. The members also wear colored sashes that vary depending upon rank. The sashes all have a plain white circle with the symbol of Tassadar. Acolytes of the Law wear white sashes, Lawkeepers wear brown sashes, Brother Justices wear dark gray sashes and the Father or Mother Justice wears a black sash.

The clergy of Tassadar are not known for producing adventurers. Instead, the priests tend towards lives of city guards, local justices of the peace, law keepers and the like. However, adventurers come from all walks of life, and thus the church undoubtedly produces a few men and women who wish to travel the world and spread the faith of Tassadar. These men and women arm themselves with best armor and weapons available; the only constant is a medallion with the symbol of Tassandar worn prominently on their upper torso.
