In every Southern state there are outstanding writers who have not become very well known outside their states or localities. Many of them have become known nationally in one or more related fields, such as music, acting, and scriptwriting. I am attempting to identify as many of this enormous group as possible (and, so, this will be an ongoing construction job). Input is most welcome.
