This Website Is About
Mississippi Writers

The purpose of this web page is to honor living Mississippi writers who are (in my opinion) on their way to greatness. Artists who have devoted more time and effort to some other art form will not be included, the belief being that by including everybody who has published a book the real writer is short-changed. In order to qualify for this listing, a writer (of at least three published books) must be either a Mississippian (by choice or otherwise), or was living in Mississippi during the time his or her books were published. The important thing in this regard is that the writer must be a Mississippian. A native of Florida, for example, would have a better chance of getting into Heaven.
Helpful comments and suggestions will be welcome.
