Gothics: I loved this adventure and hope to be with you again next year!
B.L., M.D., Strasbourg, France
Gothics: Great week. Thanks for your hard work in putting the week together.
S.C., NYC, NY
Gothics: Thanks for your arrangements. The sessions, as usual, were excellent.
P.M., Montreal, Canada
Adamants: The Adamants was great, no complaints!!
D.T., M.D.; Toronto, Canada
Adamants: The adamants trip worked out great. We had a nice group of skiers who were compatible both on and off the slopes. The seminar worked out well too. I don't know if we could have done twice the number of talks. The early season trip because of its pricing allowed me to bring my son which made it a double bonus as we had a great time together. As always the weather dictates the nature of the trip both in terms of traveling as well as skiing. We did not have the dump of snow we enjoyed 2 years ago at the Gothics but the base did not have the same ice layer underneath that we had until the dump occurred. No one could control the wind effect on the upper slopes but the guides figured things out and found some great terrain. The little bits of snow at the end of the week added the necessary cream making great skiing greater. Thanks for all your efforts.

| Summer Heli-Hiking 8/09 |
Dear Ted and Lisa,
Just got back from CMH this past weekend and what a summer highlighted by your wonderful trip!!!! Thanks so much for offering-up that experience. All four of us so enjoyed it! Went in not having a clue what to expect and it surpassed all our expectations and then some?great food, guides, people, incredible and soul-moving scenery. Chris took some great photos of the Bobbie Burns hiking terrain and the entire trip. Thanks again!

Dr. T. G.; M.D.; Pittsburgh, PA
Just a short note to thank you once more for a most enjoyable week up there in Revelstoke. As you know, I had some reservations about giving up my Monashees/Galena routine--hotel instead lodge, driving a van to the heliport, terrain??!!
Dr. H.V.; M.D.; Long Beach, CA
I had a great time with everybody. Revelstoke was a nice surprise. We are both interested in the trip to the Caribous next year.
Dr. D.N.; Pasidena, CA
| Monashees 2/09 |
I observed you at the lodge and I was very impressed by your diligence and the efforts that you made to ensure that all was proceeding smoothly and that everybody was happy. The Port that you offered after dinner every night was very well appreciated and I think that you are superb in the organizational aspects of these meetings.

This was my first heliskiing trip and it was a lot of fun. CMH runs a first class operation. The skiing was outstanding and the food and amenities at the lodge were great. The medical conference was informative and it was nice to meet other medical professionals from all over the world. I highly recommend the conference for anyone who loves to ski. I am hoping to make next December's trip
D.R., M.D, Tampa, Fl.
The experience of the Aesculapian Meeting in December 2008 in the Gothics was outstanding. I had been skeptical of the quality of the conditions of the December ski week in the Gothics. However, Dr. Ritota’s pictures of December 2007 in the Gothics were indisputable that the skiing would be excellent. I was definitely impressed with the quality of the Aesculapian Society Meeting international academic offerings as there were high quality lectures from a variety of specialties. As opposed to attending a meeting in one’s specialty, the latest information of many specialties discussed in an efficient and interesting manner. It is also a unique opportunity to be updated by both physicians and dentists in a wide range of specialties in both.

December skiing in Gothics is really something -our 8th helitrip and the best snow we have had -what happened to global warming? The camaraderie you get from the small group is also special -and the meetings at night are fun as well as educational. I would prefer if you could keep the quality of skiing in December on the quiet -we don't want to see everyone coming over! Thanks for organizing another great trip
S.B., M.D. Sydney, Australia
We all left the great Gothics with the best memories of spectacular heliskiing .Apparently , some time ago, I questioned whether there was enough snow to ski in DECEMBER. I WAS NOT AWARE that was a going joke among my friends and staff there. Well, mother nature had other plans. I will never forget the 3 days of non stop face shots in the dry powder AND THE PLUME OF SNOW each one of us leaving behind as we were going down the beautiful GOTHICS .The group was great, the lectures as always informative and well selected. I would like to mention the wonderful staff running the Gothics. Thanks again for the opportunity to experience such a great week
D.P., M.D.; Chicago, Il.
I just wanted to write and let
you know what a great time I had at this year's early Heli trip in the
Gothics. I've been having a difficult adjustment back to real life.
When asked how my trip was I have told everyone that it easily was some of
the best skiing I've ever had. At Snowbird that is quite a statement.
It was so amazing to have days and days of so much snow. It wasn't just face
shots it was face streams. I skied to exhaustion each day. In the
evenings our dear Gothics staff revived us with a very hot whirlpool,
libations, great food, and a comfortable bed. And best of all, such a
great group of people to ski with, laugh with, ice
with...and enjoy our great love of skiing. Thanks Ted,
J.D., Snowbird Utah
Thanks for everything, it was an AMAZING trip! Looking forward to doing it again next year!

BOBBIE BURNS: thanks again for allowing us to join your group. We had a great time at Bobbie Burns. Again, we would like to return for the Cariboos next year as well.
T.W., M.D., Rochester MN, & D.B., M.D.; Syracuse, N.Y.
BOBBIE BURNS: I want to congratulate you and your excellent organization once again for the superb learning experience and related activities during the recent meetings at the Bobbie Burns Lodge. The quality of the discussions continue to impress me and I look forward to participating in similar events for many years to come.

MONASHEES:
The meeting of the Society at
the Monashees a couple of weeks was great !
The daily conferences were very well organized and you deserve full credit.
The discussions were very lively and very instructive ! The skiing
that week had its problems that were beyond your control (if you had that
kind of power, CMH would hire you full time for sure!!!) but all in all, it
was a memorable experience.
Thank you once again. I hope that you keep me on your active list.
P. J. G., M.D., Los Angeles, CA
MONASHEES: THANK YOU FOR ALL THE EFFORTS TO A GREAT SKIING WEEK. WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN THE MONASHEES WHEN SKIING WAS POSSIBLE FOR THE VARIOUS KNOWN REASONS. IN ANY EVENT, I THINK THE AREA IS GREAT WHEN STABILITY IS NOT AN ISSUE. I WOULD LIKE TO REVISIT THE MONASHEES ON ANOTHER OCCASION TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT IS OUT THERE. THE MEETING AS USUAL WAS GREAT. VERY INFORMATIVE SUBJECTS WERE CHOSEN , THE SPEAKERS VERY GOOD , AND YOUR ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE EXCELLENT. THANK YOU AGAIN.
D.P., M.D.; Chicago, Il.

ADAMANTS: Jeff and I want to thank for the great trip, it far exceeded our expectations. Jeff has been spoiled forever but it will be motivation to get a good job. I think I will plan on going next year, and I might have several friends to go with. Thanks again for everything.
N.S., M.D., Utah
ADAMANTS: I had an amazing time, and the ski trip of my life. The mountains and ski terrain were amazing, and the food and the lodge were first class.
D.P., M.D. Vancouver Isand, B.C., Canada
| February Cariboos and Kootenay 2/06 KOOTENAY: Although I have skied with CMH some 30 weeks over the past 13 years, this was my first-ever week at Kootenay. Originally somewhat skeptical, this proved to be a fantastic week. Based on the unique to Kootenay skiing concept of 5 groups and 2 helicopters, and the lodge set-up in Nakusp, anyone who is looking to maximize skiing time while minimizing waiting time, along with staying connected to the outside world via telephone, TV, and wireless internet access in each room, would find Kootenay to be the perfect situation. Fantastic, enormous terrain (we skied runs that our guide Rob had never skied in his 17 years of guiding). Combining the great ski program with typical CMH high end gourmet meals, the always friendly and helpful lodge staff, along with the usual group of Aesculapian Society members to provide an interesting and informative series of talks, great camaraderie, and high energy throughout the week, made this week at Kootenay a complete and total success. I would definitely return to Kootenay at the next available opportunity, and I would encourage everyone to check it out. Your CMH experience will not be complete without at least one trip to Kootenay.
R.D. , D.D.S. - Michigan
KOOTENAY: Dr. Ted Ritota hosted a fantastic dental and medical meeting at Kootenay. The doctors included national and international experts in a variety of fields who gave excellent presentations. It was a great forum to hear about advances in other specialties and the information presented was of high interest and pertinent. The skiing at Kootenay was also excellent. I had one of my best days ever skiing the varied tree runs and especially loved skiing "Entrance Exam". I would highly recommend the Aesculapian Society for a wonderful balance of academics and world class skiing. You will never find skiing like this at a resort! M.J.C., M.D., Canary Islands, Spain KOOTENAY: Best CMH week Murray and I have had (5 previous ones ). Well organized, great camaraderie and the talks were fun. Can't wait till next year. S.B., M.D. Sydney, Australia
KOOTENAY: The skiing exceeded my wildest
expectations, and those were high to start with. To have endless fresh
tracks, blue skies, fabulous terrain, unbelievable views, and great
company felt like I had died and gone to heaven. There were times on the
slopes I had to pinch myself to be certain this was not a dream. I was
most surprised to be able to ski "fresh" knee-deep powder, days after the
last snowfall. Though a dump of snow may have been fun to try, getting
waist deep powder would not have been worth the sacrifice (to me) of not
being able to ski the open alpine terrain we could ski that week because
of good weather, visibility, and stable avalanche conditions. I also
learned a few things from the courses and would certainly recommend your
group to others interested in the experience. I hope to do this again soon
(in a few years). Thanks for the experience.
R. E., M.D., Marblehead, Mass
KOOTENAY: I had a great week and greatly appreciate all that you do to make it possible; I just e-mailed my other CMH friends to tell them all about it. Such a fun group you have accumulated over the years, if accumulated is the right word!! And skiers too. My legs are coming back but probably happy the ski conditions here are still not good here so they do not have to do it tomorrow. Pretty spoiled after Nakusp. I thought the meeting was worthwhile but fortunately not overbearing since we all have plenty of exercise. Especially I liked the flexibility of the schedule whereby we could work out when to next meet and meet other times for more/extra talks. I cannot wait until Bobbie Burns next Feb and only hope my body can hold up. I would always be happy to give another talk anytime you wish.
J.B., M.D., Lake Placid, NY CARIBOOS: Dear Lisa and Ted, Once again a big thank you for the wonderful week of heliskiing medical meeting that you managed to recreate every year. I think the variety of the presented medical subjects were, well selected and very informative. The medical meeting this year was enriched by the presentation of unusual subjects that affect our daily life and increased the level of awareness and knowledge. It is also difficult to omit mentioning the great skiing at the Cariboos. We had one of the best weeks ever! Thank you again, looking forward to next year. D.P., M.D., Chicago, IL CARIBOOS: The talks are awesome the company could not be better, I only continue to work to come heli-skiing with you guys. You all are perfect ( well Lisa is anyway). I think the Aesculapian Society is superb. G.Z., M.D., Houston, Texas CARIBOOS: That was a great week, everything came together and the result was as good as it gets.
M.K., Aspen, Colorado
CARIBOOS:
Thank you again for the wonderful medical seminar at the Cariboos Feb
4-11, 2006. All the talks were excellent and informative. The
camaraderie was spectacular, as always. The rooms and meals were superb.
And of course the skiing, in that beautiful 8 foot snowpack, with that
glorious sunshine and the superb guides, was outstanding as always. Thank
you for the good job you are doing. I am already looking forward to next
year!!
A.D., M.D., Memphis, TN
CARIBOOS: I want to congratulate you and your excellent
organization once again for the superb learning experience and related
activities during the recent meetings in the Cariboos. The quality of
the discussions continue to impress me and I look forward to participating
in similar events for many years to come.

"What do you get when you combine the best skiing in the world with near-perfect snow and weather, a great group of old and new friends to ski and socialize with throughout the week, and an always interesting and informative series of medical/dental seminars in the evenings after dinner? - you get a typical week with The Aesculapian Society at CMH. February 2005 at the Adamants will go down as one of the best weeks so far. Ted, you have never failed to deliver, and you came thru beautifully for us once again this week. Looking forward to next year already".
R.D., D.D.S. , Michigan"This was the first ever heli-skiing trip for my husband and I. We really did not know what to expect for the week, and to be honest, my husband and I never thought that anything could be better than our honeymoon. This definitely was!!! After the first half day, we could have left Bobbie Burns and been absolutely content. It was the greatest week of our lives. It was beyond our wildest expectations. The conditions were amazing. I have never skied in such great, fresh, pristine snow. The other wonderful part of the week was the staff at Bobbie Burns. They made you feel so welcome, like we were family. Everyone was so nice to us. We even got to ski with some of them one afternoon. It was probably my favorite afternoon. We were all having fun, just laughing with each other and enjoying each other's company. I could go on forever about the week. But again, it was the most spectacular week my husband and I had. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in making our week so great." T.G., M.D., Colorado
"I want to thank you most sincerely for the
extremely enjoyable and instructive week oragnized by the Aesculapian Society at
the Bobbie Burns Lodge in February. The quality of the educational
sessions was first rate, and I hope to be able to participate for many more
years with you and your Society. The week at Bobbie Burns particularly
special, possibly due to the fact that there were only three groups of skiers, a
great lodge and a particularly enjoyable staff. There was also a very special
bunch of 33 fun people, all of whom seemed to enjoy each other's company. I
hope you are able to confirm another week at Bobbie Burns, and I have written to
CMH in this regard." P.M., Montreal
"I think we did it
again, a lot of other heliskiers that Ii know ,are very jealous of us. I think
we had the greatest heliski week so far this year. It was really great to
ski at Bobbie Burns with three groups of skiers. Enjoying the immense
terrain there with the members of the wonderful Aesculapian Society family is a
pleasure to return to every year. The medical presentation and evening lectures
were very good and well selected. Finally I want to congratulate both of you,
Ted and Lisa, for all your efforts to make our week a memorable one.
Thanks again, looking forward
to next year adventures.
D.P., M.D. Illinois

"Dear Ted and Lisa, we really had a wonderful week at KOOTENAY. I want to thank you for all the efforts you are putting in the preparation of this meeting. My son cannot stop talking about the exciting KOOTENAY territory. I was very pleasantly surprised with the whole operation and the spectacular skiing. having two helicopters makes it much more efficient and of course more skiing. KOOTENAY is not the typical CMH operation but what they offer is great and I will definitely go back on the first opportunity. As usual you are putting together a great group of friends. The meeting was great, always informative, well presented and for specialist like myself a great educational opportunity. looking forward to future meetings."

I've been skiing for over 50 years and this is by far the best skiing
experience ever. The best snow, and the best scenery, combined with
outstanding lodging and camaraderie, along with interesting professional
discussions, make this truly the ultimate skiing experience for physicians
and dentists.
N. H., D.M.D., F.A.G.D., F.I.C.D.
I
wanted to thank you for a fabulous week in the Cariboos. What a great
group of friends and professionals you have put together for your
adventures. The meetings were very interesting and stimulating and the
skiing and accommodations were absolutely world class. Thanks for letting
me be a part of your trip.
Dr. K. J., Denver 3/03
I want to thank you for including me in what was not only some great skiing but a "memorable adventure". You assembled a wonderful group of impressive skiers. They are a lot of laughs on the mountain as well as après ski. I will NEVER forget the week in Kootney.
Dr. E.L., Chicago 2/03
As always thanks for making the effort to engineer a great week. It's a highlight in my year.
Mr. M.M., Chicago 2/03
You may or may not hear this enough, but chances are not: The work you do to put the Aesculapian society together is definitely appreciated, thanks.
Dr. S.M., Portland 2/03
Great meetings, great friends, great snow! Thanks for putting it all
together for us.
Dr. R.G., Irvine 2/03

enjoyed the week immensely. Great skiing, great friends, great
accommodations, new medical information that is a treat to hear. What more
can you ask?
