a barrel of crude was "supposed" to go down to $20 a barrel shortly after we entered Iraq... that was the whole idea...

it has been over $50 a barrel for some time, and Katrina pushed it up to $75 a barrel...

Bush said, back when the war started, that the economy would be bustling if the pirce of crude was at or near $20 a barrel... what is happening now? imminent explosions of all that we know?

they may think and want to breathe the words "In God We Trust" but in their actions, it is "We Love Money"... and the scripture reads... "the love of money is the root of all evil"... not the money... just the love of it...

nearly every product we use in the US is either made with a petroleum derivitive, or is delievered by some form of vehicle using a petroleum product for fuel energy... ships, forklifts at docks, trucks that pick things yp off of fork lifts... cranes that lift things to load them on trains... 18-wheelers who delever things from warehouses to retail stores... and people who drive their cars to the retail outlets to buy the things made or delivered using petroleum products...
