I have an addendum to attach to this after watching "Star Trek - First Contact"...
Basically, governments everywhere have assimilated us into their collective and keep us within the boundaries of nations in order to tax us so that they have a purpose to exist. They tax us so that they have a military to "protect" the imaginary border lining the countries we live in, and if necessary, the same tax money is used to enforce government policy on the people. Case in point of government use of power against the people in this country (worst case) would be Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidians... and the disarming of civilians during hurricane Katrina... you might want to watch this YouTube video later on:
<quote> "no one will be able to be armed, we will take all weapons" <unquote>
or possibly this one:
Freedom, true freedom would mean NO imaginary geographical boundaries. It would also be a "threat to (uh-hem) "national security" because any individual within the nation could travel to any location on the globe without the government knowing where we are at. As of January 2006, every U.S. passport now has an RFID (radio frequency identification) chip inside the cover

The guise is... "to prevent unwanted terrorist" from entering the country... yeah, right... when they actually put forth a concerted effort to stop illegal immigration along the Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California border from Mexico... then I'll believe they give a shit about illegals entering the country... isn't it amazing how much Mexican folks look like Arab folks?... hummmmmmm
But it more of a ploy to be able to track the American tax payers, where ever they may roam. And if they roam some where where the government does not approve (like, let's say a un-friendly country like a Communist country, or North Korea, or Iran for instance...)... then the (quote, unquote) "rights" of the American citizen can be held at bay while the government decides where on the planet we can and cannot walk.
Meanwhile, the planet has imaginary lines drawn on it... borders of countries... there is not any red or blue or black line physically growing on the Earth... it is a surveyor's pen that marks the boundaries of which many have died for and many more will die for in the years to come.
Picture this... that the government is actually the BORG....
They assimilated the American Indians years ago, and forced them into the collective reservations. All of us born here since that time are immediately assimilated into the country as U.S. citizens at birth. Some think this is a good thing, but nobody ever gives voice to the bad part of the assimilation.
The U.S. hasn't openly forced imperialism on other nations for many years... but those days of assimilation are indeed in our history. During the Spanish-American War, America viewed Spain as the weakest nation in Europe, and decided to help themselves to the taking of some of Spain's territories through out the globe. Enter Cuba, the Philippines, and at the time is when we acquired Hawaii... It was the age of conquest, and the U.S. figured it was high time to assimilate several bodies of land into the U.S. Borg collective.
Today... it was first Afghanistan... producers of (at the time of the Taliban rule) 45% of the world's opium products (such as morphine and vicodin, used in all U.S. hospitals... and heroin, used on the street all over the world...)/... and now, under U.S. rule, Afghanistan produces 93% of the world's opium...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6965115.stm
Was it a "War on Terrorism" that was created, or really a war to possess oil and opium? It wouldn't be the first time there had been some type of opium war in history...
http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/CHING/OPIUM.HTM
How better to start a war than to attack your own nation? Who is going to say "no, we shouldn't go to war" after that? All it took was the investment of 4 U.S. airliners, and since that time we have killed thousands, possibly millions... and there are no living witnesses aboard any of the airliners to tell any different kind of a story.
I still have the news report somewhere that stated (at first report)... "they have shot down a forth airliner over Pennsylvania"... which of course was hushed immediately, and as the days after the event transpired, the story was built higher and higher into the realms of some of the best propaganda bullshit reporting on the planet... that the people on the airliners actually gave a fight, and drove the plane into the ground... howbeit, they have eye witnesses on the ground (that were silenced) that saw a military jet fly over at tree top level... then they heard an explosion...
I stick to the belief that the government got out of hand, decided to blow one of our own out of the sky... and they have covered it up ever since... it IS possible to control the U.S. media... just look at the coverage of the 1st Gulf War compared to the free coverage of Vietnam... we were "told" that it "wouldn't be good for us (little Sheeples) to view the ground assault on Iraq"... yeah, war is hell...
But then... when it was time to lie to the American people about weapons of mass destruction... giving them (the government in charge) the supposed "reason" to attack the oil-rich nation of Iraq... they actually EMBEDDED new reporters with key military attack forces... because America really does love a good war...
"We the Sheeples"...... "of the Borg Collective... in Order to form a more perfect Collective, ruin Justice, insure domestic instability, and provide for the common defence, extinguish the general Welfare, and secure the destruction of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United Borg Collective of America."
Several object cases in this so far... the promise of bearing arms when it benefits their collective... namely no country in the world is going to attack the U.S. as long as a majority of the population is armed (example... Hitler never attacked Switzerland in WWII because he new the cost would have been bloody, and the Swiss were armed to the teeth... but the same (uh-hem) "freedom" can be stripped from law abiding citizens at a moment's notice... or in the event of a hurricane, when they need them the most to prevent looters from having their way, etc...
And the RFID chips in passports... this strips U.S. citizens of freedoms and is also a threat to each individual's personal privacy (there are already readers that can access the information embedded in these chips from up to 160 feet away... as soon as they are open, it activates the chip inside, and someone other than U.S. customs can read the information)... nice idea, Bush.... what a dumb shit... in my opinion, the worst President we have had in our lifetime... and I VOTED for him, so I have every right to bitch...
Then there is the open imperialism of Afghanistan and Iraq for the benefit of the U.S. Borg collective... keep the people doped up... and keep the control on the oil that we use to produce a majority of our manufactured products, let alone the fuel to transport us and them to the stores where we buy them and to the jobs where we make the money to buy the same. There is plenty of evidence in print already concerning the CIA's importation of illegal drugs. It gives the U.S. Borg Collective free money to produce wars in places that they don't have to tell the American people about. If there is no record of the monetary transaction, then wars and arms can be built and bought and transferred all over the planet without the assimilated American consciousness finding out.
Even at the expense of killing some of your own Borg populations to accomplish the task. (i.e., running planes full of your U.S. Borg sheeples into the twin towers...) The dope and the oil have a wicked draw....
Meanwhile I sit in my apartment, with plenty of time on my hands to actually think outside of the box... the leaders of the Borg like to squash these types of thoughts by convincing people that folks like me are "conspiracy theorist"... and I think there are folks that get a file placed in the FBI, CIA, and BATFE filing cabinets once we start speaking out against the tyranny we see with our own eyes. They don't like folks to break away from the Borg Collective...
Resistance is futile.....
Indeed... they have tanks, lot's of soldiers, and planes that can launch missiles from 20. 30. 40 miles away (or more) and ships that can launch missiles from even further... and submarines that can launch ICBMs from anywhere on the planet at anytime...
Resistance is futile...
But they will never take away my freedom to think... they can put me in chains, they can do many things to my body... but in my mind, I can think about whatever I please, including concepts that might contradict all of their propaganda ploys and Borg collective thought.\
Because true freedom does not include an imaginary geographical boundary. True freedom comes when a planet the size of ours breaks down all of these walls of hate, and learns to live in peace. But man is a killing man... and some men enjoy killing... and in such a man, if giving leadership of the collective, will stand by and watch the poor of the country fight the battles, as the rich and entitled watch and supposedly command.
Meanwhile the Sheeples do as they are told, and think as CNN/ABC/NBC, etc... tells them to think... and they pay their taxes like good little Sheeples, in fear of the Borg I.R.S. enforcers who can come and assimilate them into the prison system...
Everyone wanted Picard to blow up Enterprise-E and run from the Borg. But the Borg can be defeated. I am not against the U.S.... but rather a truth teller of things to come. ALL governments end, history has proven that truth over and over again. America is NOT a forever place... and one day the Borg who inhabit her land will be defeated, and this country will crumble. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, and maybe not even in our lifetime. But one day the end will come, and the next government will rise...
Perhaps by then they will understand true freedom, and they will knock down the Berlin Wall of the imaginary geographical boundaries. But it is at best an idealism. If I use history as an example, the rich have always been in charge, and the poor have always fought their battles. As long as there is a class distinction, there will be wars. Whether they disguise their kings with names like presidents, or whether they invent some new name to fit those who rule and control us... we are not free as long as we exist in the Borg Collective. We have been assimilated since birth, and there is no way to change it, except to change how we think.
And it helps a LOT to pitch your TV set out the window... I have not owned one in 7 years, and I find that I have very little use with anything that gets broadcast by one. It is also the propaganda mechanism of the Borg... the communication of the instrument is perverted, it is controlled by government regulations, and the government can come in and shut it down and take complete control of it at any time. Just like stripping us of our 2nd Amendment gun rights, the same government of "We the Sheeples" can come in and take over the news... they can also prevent news from being broadcast for their own purpose... such as preventing news coverage of the first Gulf War...
The communication has been perverted....
I still have my Harris butt set... as long as they are using a twisted pair for communication... I will have a phone... I also know how to access all of the telecommunications databases... so... as this Sheeple steps out of the eye of the beholder, I take with me many things...
30,000 eBooks on every subject you can think of... biology, warfare, weapons making, gardening, anatomy, medical surgery, chemistry, computer science, psychology, philosophy... you can't name a college subject that I don't have detailed files...
I have an entire library on file... as long as they don't drop any EMPs, and the computer world is in tact...
Meanwhile....
politics is no longer a study in political science...
it is now a discussion of sociology...
The investigation is on how the Borg can assimilate the social organism of the Sheeples into the collective. It is a study of sociology, not politics. It is the learning how to control the assimilated millions... it is sociology and psychology. Learning how to plant mis-information, and agents of dis-information in the communicated, perverted media.
It comes from both sides, Republican and Democrat, they work together to control us all. It is not one over the other, I have learned that long ago... it is not the "damned Democrats"... or the "damned Republicans"... it is the damned Sheeples who give their power over to the Dems and Reps ever so easily, without a fight, and with very little thought on the matter.
Socates, Plato... the great thinkers have been extinguished....
And now we are merely the Borg Collective...
Resistance is futile...
... but I still keep my AR-15 cleaned and oiled, with at least 1,000 rounds of ammo on hand at all times...
Because perhaps the Resistance might save Enterprise-E in the end.......
