What people don't get is that the price of a barrel of crude oil really has little
to do with the price of gasoline... gasoline is only one product made out of
that barrel of crude oil...
Gas is only a drop in the bucket...
Agriculture uses petroleum products to create pesticides and herbicides... buying
gas at everywhere but Exxon/Mobil will have no effect there...
Textiles use petroleum products... the buttons on our shirts are plastic... all
plastic has a pertroleum base...
Bumpers on cars are plastic...
Toothbrushes are plastic
Eyeglass frames are (can be) made of plastic
Computer cases are made of plastic, as are the case the monitor comes in, the
case the scanner comes in, the case the printer comes in, and the case surrounding
the speakers hooked to the computer.. not to mention the CDs and DVD's used to
fire them up.. and the plastic used to make a floppy disk...
how in the bloody fucking God damned HELL is refusing to buy gas at Exxon/Mobil
gonna have one iota of difference on all of the above?
and it isn't just at out gas pumps that the fuel is being burnt.. no, there
is more...
every jet airplane that takes off uses hundreds of gallons of jet fuel... might
be from Exxon, might be from Mobil... hell, might as well be from Mars... the
cost of doing business goes up when airlines raise their fares to reflect hiring
jet fuel costs... business people travel by air, so the cost of labor (management)
goes up...
every 18-wheeler that carries every good to every store in the world uses hundreds
of gallons of diesel fuel every year... more like thousands of gallons... diesel
fuel that is another derivative of that barrel of crude oil coming out of OPEC..
and George Bush's oil fileds...if the cost of delivery goes up, then the cost
of every good and product we buy will go up to reflect the cost of fuel to get
that item from the factory to you...
every piece of heavy machinery that builds any kind of road, subdivision, skyscraper,
or strip mall uses gallons and gallons of fuel to get the job done... so, when
the cost of a barrel of crude oil goes up, the cost of progress itself goes up...
roads that could be built at on cost now cost more because the fuel that drives
the road making machines costs more... road graders, cranes, bulldozers, backhoes,
and thousands of different heavy machines that create progress...
so, what do we have here?
I'll tell you, and you're gonna shit...
What we have is a thing called an "e-mail address collection program"...
how does it work?... well, get someone to attach all of their e-mails to one
specific "civic-minded" e-mail... like getting the "word" out
to boycott Exxon and Mobil... the whole idea is completely and utterly stupid
as fucking hell...
What we have here... (isn't a failure to communicate) its the failure for people
to realize what they do when they respond to stupid e-mails like this Exxon/Mobil
e-mail... by issuing out an e-mail with an attachment of your active, useable,
real-live e-mail addresses, the e-mail address collecting program is keyed in
to scarf every e-mail off of this document, and store it on a main server somewhere
out on the Internet... then, when they want to send out SPAM (unsolicited e-mails
and advertisements) they just tap into the goopy-gloppy e-mails that have been
circulated (like this rediculous Exxon/Mobil e-mail) and they fill your inbox
with tons and tons of unwanted shit from porn sites, mortgage bankers, fake university
diplomas, you name it...
it all starts by attaching your e-mail address book to an e-mail like this...
go ahead, send it to ten people... as soon as the server running the e-mail collection
program gets wind that another ten new goons have been asked to be victimized,
in return you don't actually see Exxon and Mobil cut their prices, but mysteriously,
the SPAM in your inbox goes up...
here's the plan...
don't attach ten e-mails to this and send it out...
just send it one at a time... to all the egg-headed nin-com-poops who actually
beloieve half of the idiotic drivel spun around on the Internet via SPAM
SPAM is SPAM... and what people don't realize is that THE MESSAGE ABOUT EXXON/MOBIL
IS SPAM....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a little simple THINKING and anyone with half a brain can figure out that
crude oil prices are not effected by boycotting JUST a gas pump... we would have
to STOP BEING AMERICANS..
Believe me... those who are in power intend to stay in power, and there is very
little we, the peons, can do about it... that is how it is... that is how it
has always been... and that is... if they have anything to do with it... the
way it will always be...
Freedom?
Very little of it in this country, actually...
Freedom, true freedon, is going down to the gas station, filling up and pulling
away... and not paying a penny for a natural resource...
We are so far from being free that we will never be free in our lifetimes...
So, go ahead, bite the bullet, and vote for another Republican or Democrat...
they are virtually the same... power hungry, corrupt, and filthy rich beyond
our wildest imaginations... and while were biting that bullet, we can go ahead
and bend over, because if they want gas prices at $10 a gallon, that is what
we are going to have to pay... I don't think people GET IT...
