Very Interesting Observations Of A World Traveler

much to be thankful for, we are full of it -- the spirit, that is.
We've experienced a little culture shock returning to the U.S.A. The choices here are infinite and overwhelming -- the malls, grocery stores (a Sushi bar at Publix?!), telephone services, cable TV, and oh the technology! We're also enjoying all the simple pleasures of being able to drink water straight from the tap, get in and out of our driveway without someone blocking us in, and sleep without the sounds of church bells, motorcycles, roosters crowing, and fireworks at all hours of the night. Everyone who visited us will confirm that we're not exaggerating!
We loved having the opportunity to spend the past 3 1/2 years in Italy. It was truly the experience of a life time! While we miss our friends in Italy very much, we do plan to return annually and hope they will visit us in America. We are also looking forward to hearing from all of you and seeing you in the not too distant future, since we're back on this side of the big pond once more.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year!
With much affection,
