King James Translation: “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.”
Interlinear Translation: “Everyone that believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.”
Strong’s Concordance Translation: “WHOSOEVER = all, the whole, every kind of, always, everything, altogether. BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST = to have faith in, upon or with respect to a person, credit, by implication to entrust especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ, commit, to trust, put in trust with. IS BORN OF GOD = to procreate properly of the father, but by extension of the mother, figuratively to regenerate, bear, beget, be born, conceive, be delivered of, gender, make, spring.
