Key Verse: II Corinthians 4:16:

King James Translation: “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day”

Interlinear Translation: “Wherefore we faint not; but if indeed outward our man is being brought to decay, yet the inward is being renewed day by day.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “FOR WHICH CAUSE = the channel, through which thing, i.e. consequently, therefore, wherefore. WE FAINT NOT = not to be bad or weak, i.e. by implication to fail in heart, be weary. BUT THOUGH OUR OUTWARD MAN = outside, out of doors, strange. PERISH = to rot thoroughly, i.e. by implication to ruin, passive decay utterly, figuratively pervert, corrupt, destroy. YET THE INWARD MAN = inside, from within, interior, inner. IS RENEWED = to renovate, restore. Reversal. DAY BY DAY = to sit, tame, be gentle, time span between dawn and dark or the whole 24 hours, for ever.
