King James Translation: “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people, for unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

Interlinear Translation: “And said to them the angel, Fear not; behold for, I announce glad tidings to you of joy great, which shall be to all the people; for was born to you to-day a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “AND THE ANGEL SAID UNTO THEM = to bring tidings, a messenger, a pastor, messenger. FEAR NOT = not be frightened, not be alarmed, not to be in awe of. FOR BEHOLD = lo, see. I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS = to announce good news, evangelize, declare, preach, good lead. OF GREAT = exceeding, greatest, high, large, loud, mighty, strong. JOY WHICH SHALL BE TO ALL PEOPLE = cheerfulness, i.e. calm delight, gladness, be exceeding joyful. FOR UNTO YOU IS BORN THIS DAY = to produce from seed as a mother, bear, be born, bring forth, be delivered, be in travail. IN THE CITY OF DAVID A SAVIOUR = a deliverer. WHICH IS CHRIST THE LORD.
