King James Translation: “For everyone that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
Interlinear Translation: “For everyone that seeks receives; and he that seeks
finds; and to him that knocks it will be opened.”
Strong’s Concordance Translation: “FOR EVERY ONE = all, any,
every, the whole, all manner of, all means of, the whosoever. THAT ASKETH =
beg, call for, crave, desire, require. RECEIVETH = to take, to get hold of,
have, hold, obtain. AND HE THAT SEEKETH = to worship God, be about, desire,
endeavor, enquire for, require. FINDETH = get, obtain, perceive, see. AND TO
HIM THAT KNOCKETH = to rap. IT SHALL BE OPENED = to open, open up.
