King James Translation: “And it came to pass, afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him.”
Interlinear Translation: “And it came to pass afterwards that he journeyed through city by city and village by village, preaching and announcing the glad tidings, the kingdom of God, and the twelve were with him.”
Strong’s Concordance Translation: “AND IT CAME TO PASS = to cause to be, generate, to become, come into being, be assembled, be done. AFTERWARD = thereafter, i.e. consecutively, in order. THAT HE WENT THROUGHOUT = down in place or time, concerning, pertaining to, touching. EVERY CITY = a town properly with walls of greater or lesser size. AND VILLAGE = a hamlet as if laid down. PREACHING = to herald as a public crier especially divine truth the gospel, proclaim, publish. AND SHEWING THE GLAD TIDINGS = to announce good news, evangelize, declare, good lead. OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD = royalty, i.e. rule, or realm, reign.
