Key Verse: I John 2:5:

King James Translation: “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God Lssperfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”

Interlinear Translation: “but whoever may keep his word, truly in him the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that in him we are.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “BUT WHOSO KEEPETH = a watch, to guard from loss or injury properly by keeping the eye open, to fulfill a command, by implication to detain in custody, figuratively to maintain, by extension to withhold for personal ends, figuratively to keep unmarried, hold fast. HIS WORD = something said including the thought, by implication a topic, subject of discourse, also reasoning the mental faculty or motive, by extension a computation, account, cause, communication, doctrine, preaching, question, reason, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work. IN HIM VERILY = truly, indeed, surely, of a truth. IS THE LOVE OF GOD = affection of benevolence, specially a love feast, feast of charity, dear. PERFECTED = to complete, i.e. accomplish, consummate in character, consecrate, finish, fulfill, make perfect. HEREY KNOW WE = allow, be aware of, feel, have knowledge, perceive, be resolved, can speak, be sure, understand. THAT WE ARE IN HIM = fixed position in place, time, or state, by implication instrumentality medially or constructively, i.e. a relation of rest.
